Dear Bobcat Parents/Guardians,

The 2014/2015 school year was a great year for Central High School as we continued to demonstrate progress in the areas of student achievement. For instance, our graduation rate for the 2015 cohort (seniors) surpassed the 90% mark. Additionally, the class of 2015 led the District in our college application campaign with over 900 completed college applications for a 94% rate! Furthermore, the class of 2015 earned $3.5 million dollars in scholarship monies and awards. Other noteworthy achievements include the following: Central teachers earn National Board Certification (Mr. Jeff Chmielewski and Mrs. Theresa Harfmann); Phoenix Union earns AdvancEd accreditation; Central’s boys’ basketball team earns state playoff berth; last but not least, Central hosts President Obama. These are a few of the amazing accomplishments our students and teachers have garnered with the support of our parents and community. We thank you for your continued support of our learning community.
